Harley-Davidson¨ Long Bar & Shield¨ Patch. The exact origins of HarleyÕs¨ famous Bar & Shield¨ logo are rather elusive. A primitive variant was first registered with the U.S. Patent Office in 1911, but its creator is lost to history. Nevertheless, the logo on this patch is among the most popular of the older logos, with the classic Bar & Shield¨ showing the words TRADE MARK. The addition of Genuine Finest Quality Motorcycles at the top and bottom sets it apart from many others, too. This patch replicates that logo in the finest embroidery.
