Performance boots are those boots specifically designed for motorcycle riding, from the street up. There is no question these are “made for” the task, yet they’re comfortable and moto chic. Harness styling combined with just the right hardware makes these boots both functional and fashion ready. On the bike, wear with jeans. Off the bike, wear with jeans or as an ankle bootie with skirts with or without leggings. A round toe with smooth leather moves up the vamp where three harness styled straps attach to a classic O’ring with a snugging buckle. A metal Harley-Davidson® Bar & Shield® badge adorns the outside face of the shaft. The uppers are made with heat resistant leather. With a pull strap and YKK® locking inside zippers with a leather pull, these boots are easy to slip into. An elastic gore ensures total comfort as your ankle moves about. White contrast stitching adds a bit of depth on the boot’s vamp. The boots have a full-length mesh lining. With rubber outsoles, rated best for slip and oil resistance, the boots are comfortable for all day walking or riding. The boots also feature TFL COOL SYSTEMS® technology, which restricts the temperature of black leather when exposed to sun radiation for improved thermal comfort. Translated, that means your feet stay cool even in direct sunshine. The street side sole has a grippy tread design and a bright Harley® orange Bar & Shield is embedded in the instep. The boot’s sole, insole and upper are bound using resoleable Goodyear® Welt construction processes, the most labor intensive and durable construction method available.
