Description

This genuine Harley-Davidson vehicle speed sensor (VSS) reads transmission gear speed and sends the signal to the electronic speedometer and engine control module. A faulty sensor typically causes an erratic or dead speedometer and can trigger a check engine light.

Direct plug-in replacement with factory sealed connector. Supersedes 74402-05 and 74402-05A.

Fitment: Wide range of 2005-and-later models including Sportster XL, Dyna, Softail, Touring and V-Rod (e.g. XL883N/L 2010-2022, FXDB/FXDF/FXDL/FXDWG 2013-2017, FLD 2013-2016, FLHR 2012-2022, FLFB/FLHC 2018-2024). Check fitment with our parts team.
