Description
This genuine Harley-Davidson charging system assembly kit brings the 2024 Revolution Max charging system updates to earlier Pan America and Sportster S models. The updated design improves electrical output at idle and low rpm, which helps keep the battery topped up in slow traffic and with accessory loads such as heated gear and auxiliary lighting.
The 2024-specification system uses a thicker stator with longer mounting screws, a re-machined cooling manifold, shortened alternator cover screws and a rotor assembly with repositioned magnets. Because these components are matched to each other, Harley-Davidson supplies them as a complete assembly kit rather than as individual parts. The alternator cover is finished in charcoal satin black to match the engine finish.
Important: the 2024-specification components must never be mixed with the original 2021-2023 charging parts, as this can cause severe engine damage. Installation by an authorised Harley-Davidson dealer is strongly recommended.
Fitment: 2021-2023 Pan America RA1250 and RA1250S, and 2021-2023 Sportster S RH1250S. Not for Nightster RH975 models, which use a separate kit. Confirm fitment with our parts team.
