Description
A genuine Harley-Davidson SEMS-type fastener: a hex socket (Allen) head screw supplied with a captive washer already fitted to the shank, so the washer cannot be lost or left out during assembly. SEMS screws are used throughout H-D models where a secure, vibration-resistant fastening is needed.
Replacing worn, corroded or missing OE fasteners with the genuine part ensures the correct thread, length and head style so torque values in the service manual remain valid.
