Description
This genuine Harley-Davidson front stop lamp switch kit replaces the pressure-actuated brake light switch in the front brake master cylinder. When the front brake lever is applied, the switch closes and illuminates the brake lamp.
A failed switch is a common cause of a brake light that stays on or does not come on when the front brake is applied. This kit includes the switch and the components required for installation.
Fitment: Front master cylinders on many 1996-2013 Sportster, Dyna, Softail, Touring and VRSC models. Replaces earlier switch 71590-96. Confirm with our parts team.
